just fyi, today is Equal Pay Day. it's marked in april to signify how far into another calendar year the average woman has to work in order to make as much as the average man makes in 12 months.
you know what's sad? that i didn't even know about Equal Pay Day until right now.
you know what's even more sad? when i did a google news search on it, the above link was the biggest news site on which i found any reference to it. no offense to the sarasota herald-tribune or the akron beacon journal, but c'mon. when one of the eighteen news stories on Equal Pay Day is from townhall.com, and it's titled "the feminist complaint fesitval," you know we have a serious problem.

Hey Kate, it's great that you bring this up. Not to dim your fire or anything, but I did read a rather prominent article on it in this Sunday's Washington Post.
Enjoy!
okay, so I'm a moron and didn't click on your link until now--seeing that I was linking to the same article. But in all fairness, that article was pretty good coverage. Ok, now I'm going to get yelled at...
who's going to yell at you? i'm not a yeller :)
