a chill wind, indeed.

we knew it was coming.

but it doesn't make it any easier to accept.

the supreme court has decided not only to ignore legal precedent, but to completely disregard the logical idea that decisions about a woman's health should be made by her and her doctor, not by the state.

it is truly - truly - horrifying. and for anti-choice activists, it's only the starting gun.

I saw the headline on NYTimes yesterday and almost fell off the couch. I couldn't believe that it actually happened. My roommate said it wasn't a big deal, but it is.

It makes me so mad. I am so offended that FIVE MEN are making a medical decision for me and every other woman in this country based on their particular moral beliefs. Five fucking men. It's outrageous.

Agreed. This is really bad. A friend stopped me on the street this morning and asked me, "where's the protest?" I said I didn't know but that I'd try to find out.
