fashion thought for the day.

wedges? the shoe for spring? i'm sorry, but no. i just can't get behind this one.

hey, if you like the wedges, by all means, rock the narrow cork-covered heel. that's cool. but for me? i'll pass.

one fine day, i will wake to find that clogs have made a comeback, and i will be a happy girl indeed.

I am waaay too much of a cluzy to wear anything over 2 inches for more than 2 minutes.

Is it me, or is there a dearth of sensible brown shoes? Not cowboy boots. Not 4 inch heels. Not open toed sandels. ugh!

Move to New York City. Clogs are quietly making a comeback.

oh, roni, i highly recommend DSW. i was just there yesterday (hence the wedge post), and they just have SO many freaking shoes. they're bound to have what you're looking for.

unless, that is, you're looking for the perfect pair of strappy brown sandals. and you're as picky as i am. then, you might be out of luck.

I never liked wedges. But that's good because the only pair of shoes I wear are these.

Rainbow sandals. Seriously, get some.

I love the clogs, but my toes are so long and my feet are so narrow that I can't wear them.

And while the wedges you put up are way too high for me, a lower wedge makes me feel more secure cause I've got support under my entire foot.

I have one pair of typical heels and I hardly wear them cause I'm so afraid of rolling my ankle cause I'm a gigantic klutzoid with weak ankles.

And I've seen some cute weges with square toes. Which is awesome since my toes are super-long.

Cute shoes. Coincidentally, I mentioned shoes as a defense (prior to visiting your blog) in my response to your comment on the "everything in moderation" blog. What a pleasant surprise to find you added validity to my argument.

It's all in good fun, though I'm sure you'd mistakenly find me to be a narrow minded chauvinist.

Nice to meet you.

prego - i just responded over at the roundtable. you're in trouble for calling me katie. however, we do agree on one thing, which is that those roundtables are a good idea!

and yes, we womenfolk are full of contradictions - wanting cute shoes, and yet also wanting to rock. it's a mystery wrapped in an enigma....

thanks for coming by, visit anytime. sometimes i talk about jeans shopping too :)
